A workshop for continuing stories

Erogen AI

Keep the scene.
Repair the drift.

A conversation does not need a new beginning every time a detail goes wrong. Choose between editing, regeneration and an alternate branch, then give the character a clearer direction.

What the service offers

Character chat with tools for changing the path.

Erogen combines a character library, conversations, voice and a visual Studio. The most useful starting point is its documented chat controls: edit a message to correct it, regenerate for an alternative reply, or clone a chat to explore a separate route.

Those tools do different jobs. Fixing one wrong object is different from wanting a second ending. Keeping that distinction clear helps you preserve the parts of a fictional scene you actually like.

Find the smallest useful intervention

What went off track?

A / Correct

Change the wrong detail.

The guide documents editing both user and AI messages. If a fictional expedition’s boat is blue but a reply makes it red, an edit can keep the accepted scene while removing the contradiction.

Preserve a copy of an important passage before making changes. A corrected reply does not establish that every older reference was corrected too.

B / Try another reply

Regenerate when the premise still works.

Regeneration asks for an alternative response. It is useful when the character has the right situation but makes an unhelpful choice. Repeating it without changing an unclear prompt may reproduce the same problem.

C / Branch

Keep two outcomes separate.

Erogen’s guide says cloning creates a new chat with the previous 100 interactions. Label the new branch by its turning point: “take the northern route” versus “wait at the harbor.” A clone is not documented as an export of unlimited history.

D / Set your role

Tell the character who you are playing.

User personas describe the participant you play. A navigator and a visiting historian have different knowledge and responsibilities. Put the stable role in a persona instead of reintroducing it in every message.

An original, ordinary story example

Fork the decision.
Keep the facts.

Two adult expedition planners must choose a route before dusk. The boat, crew and goal stay the same. Only the decision changes.

Shared premise
Deliver the field notes by Friday.
Branch oneTake the northern route

New obstacle: uncertain weather.

Branch twoWait at the harbor

New obstacle: a closing deadline.

Write down which branch owns each new event. If a later reply imports the other route’s weather, you have a concrete contradiction to fix, rather than a vague feeling that “memory is bad.”

Three things worth separating

History, context and core memory.

History
The conversation you can reopen. Stored history does not mean every old message is supplied to each new reply.
Context
The recent information available to the model at once. A larger window can fit more material but does not guarantee correct interpretation.
Core memory
The plan comparison lists eight slots on Silver and 24 on Platinum. You can pin a fact manually, and the AI can also save key events. These anchors are separate from context size and stored history; a slot allowance does not guarantee every reply recalls a fact correctly.
The action changes the charge

Dictate, hear a reply or make a call?

Speech input becomes a text message: the plans list 40 voice inputs a day on Free and unlimited on Silver/Platinum. Generated AI speech and real-time calls are separate credit actions.

Public plan examples checked October 16, 2026

Hear generated speech5 per messageFour newly voiced replies: 20; replaying generated audio is free.
Phone call10 per minuteTen minutes: 100, prorated to whole credits.
Image20 in the plan explanationTwo images: 40 at that published rate.
480p video10 per secondOne five-second clip: 50.
720p video20 per secondOne five-second clip: 100, or 200 for the stated AI-sound option.

Calls, images, video and generated speech share the balance. The plan explanation says unused credits accumulate and remain after a subscription ends; access to a premium feature is a separate entitlement.

The public Studio also displayed a 40-credit default without enough model/mode context to use it as a universal price. Keep the labeled plan rates beside their conditions and read the actual request quote before generating.

Questions in the workshop

What a control can—and cannot—establish.

Does a clone preserve my entire Erogen history?

The public guide describes copying the previous 100 interactions into a new chat. Treat that as a recent-context branch. Do not assume an unlimited archive, or a reset of every account-level memory.

Can a higher plan guarantee accurate recall?

No. The plan table describes different context and core-memory allowances, while the FAQ acknowledges inaccurate recall. More capacity is not a measured accuracy guarantee.

Why can repeated regeneration fail to fix repetition?

If the model still sees the same repetitive history and ambiguous request, another reply can continue that pattern. Erogen’s FAQ recommends varying input and editing or retrying an earlier message. A concrete new event gives the conversation a clearer path.

Is there an official native Erogen phone app?

The current FAQ says Erogen is not in the iOS or Android app stores. It recommends adding the official website to a phone’s home screen. That browser shortcut is different from an app-store download.
